Students will understand that musical ideas can be generated, refined, and communicated through improvisation, composition, experimentation, and interpretation. They will understand how musical elements such as rhythm, melody, harmony, form, expression, and style contribute to the creative process.
Students will create, improvise, arrange, and refine musical ideas individually and collaboratively. Students will experiment with musical elements, develop original material, revise creative work based on feedback, and communicate artistic intent through performance and reflection.
