Unit 1: Course Description

Grade 8 Orchestra Accelerated is an advanced performance-based course for students with strong prior orchestral experience.

Students will refine instrumental technique, music reading, rhythm, and ensemble performance skills while focusing on tone quality, musical comprehension, expression, and consistency.

The course emphasizes individual responsibility, strong practice routines, advanced ensemble skills, and high-level performance through focused rehearsals and public concerts.
