Unit 1: Course Description

Grade 8 Concert Orchestra is a continuing music course for students with prior orchestral experience.

Students further develop instrumental technique, music reading, rhythm, and ensemble performance skills while focusing on tone quality, musical comprehension, expression, and consistency.

Emphasis is placed on individual responsibility, practice routines, strong rehearsal habits, and collaboration through challenging repertoire and public performances.
