Unit 1: COURSE DESCRIPTION

Grade 8 Woodwinds is a sectional-based course for students who play woodwind instruments.

Students focus on refining instrument-specific technique, tone quality, articulation, finger facility, and music reading skills.

Emphasis is placed on individual musicianship, ensemble awareness, and performance skills through targeted instruction and small-group rehearsals.
