Unit 1: Course Description

Grade 8 Band is a continuing music course for students with prior band experience.

Students further develop instrumental technique, music reading, rhythm, and ensemble performance skills while focusing on tone quality, musical expression, and consistency.

Emphasis is placed on individual responsibility, strong rehearsal habits, and collaboration through challenging repertoire and public performances.
