Unit 1: COURSE DESCRIPTION

Grade 8 General Music is an exploratory course designed for all students to refine their music skills and deepen their understanding of music.

Students engage in activities that enhance musical modes such as listening, singing, rhythm, notation, and instrumental skills while exploring diverse musical styles, cultures, and creative expression.

Emphasis is placed on collaboration, creativity, and performance experiences that foster confidence, musical independence, and a lasting appreciation for music.
