Unit 1: COURSE DESCRIPTION

7th Grade Band is a continuing music course for students who have completed Grade 6 Band or have equivalent experience.

Students build on foundational skills while further developing instrumental technique, music reading, rhythm, and ensemble performance skills.

Emphasis is placed on improving tone quality, expanding musical range, and strengthening rehearsal habits through regular group rehearsals and performances.
