Unit 1: Course Description

Chamber Orchestra is an intermediate-level ensemble for 7th grade orchestra students who are ready to continue developing their instrumental and ensemble skills.

Students will study scales, technical exercises, and a variety of orchestra repertoire that helps develop ensemble balance, blend, and musical interpretation in chamber and quartet/quintet ensemble settings.

 Emphasis is placed on listening skills, following a conductor, and working together as a cohesive group, all while continuing to build proper technique, posture, and consistent practice habits.
