Unit 1: COURSE DESCRIPTION

Grade 7 Brass is a continuing music course for students who play brass instruments.

Students further develop instrument-specific technique, including breath control, embouchure, tone quality, articulation, range, and music reading skills.

Emphasis is placed on improving individual musicianship, ensemble awareness, and performance skills through focused instruction and small-group rehearsal experiences.
