Identify and describe the absolute and relative location of places using maps, coordinates, and nearby landmarks.
Describe the physical and human characteristics of a place, including landforms, climate, culture, and buildings.
Explain how people adapt to, modify, and depend on their environment.
Explain how people, goods, ideas, and information move from one place to another and why this movement is important.
Identify and compare regions based on physical features, climate, culture, or economic activities.
