In this module students learn how people use natural resources and how these resources form from geoscience processes. Because these processes do not occur in all places or only occur rarely, many resources are not distributed evenly around the world. Students also learn how human use of resources impacts the availability and distribution of resources.
Construct a science explanation based on evidence for how the uneven distributions of Earth's minerals, energy and groundwater resources are the result of past and current geoscience processes.
