Students will be able to identify and apply standard English capitalization and spelling rules—including proper nouns, titles, and commonly misspelled words—to improve the clarity and professionalism of their narrative writing.
Are all words spelled correctly, especially commonly misspelled words and key vocabulary?
Are capital letters used correctly at the beginning of sentences, for proper nouns, and for titles where required?
Have I checked names, places, and specific terms to make sure they are both spelled correctly and properly capitalized?
