Students play long tones and simple scales to explore their instrument’s range. Focus is on posture, breath support, and tone quality across registers.

“Louder notes are always higher.”

“I can’t play high or low notes at all.”

Beginners stay within a comfortable range.

Advanced students try notes slightly beyond their usual range.

Pair students to listen and give each other tone feedback.
