Unit 1: COURSE DESCRIPTION

Grade 6 Percussion is an introductory music course for students who play percussion instruments.

Students learn fundamental skills including proper posture, stick and mallet technique, rhythm reading, tone production, and basic percussion performance.

Emphasis is placed on building strong practice habits, basic musicianship, and confidence through focused instruction and performance activities.
