Students will explore the highest and lowest notes they can play on their brass instrument with good tone.

Students will play easy long tones and scales to explore their instrument. They will slowly try higher and lower notes, focusing on tone, posture, and breathing.

“I can’t play high/low notes at all.”
Allow beginners to stay within comfortable notes.
Offer extra challenge notes for advanced students.
Pair students to listen and give each other tips.
