Description: Students perform a short prepared song in class. Teacher provides feedback on posture, tone, pitch, rhythm, and ensemble blend. Students complete a brief self-reflection on progress and areas for improvement.

Purpose: Apply all skills learned in a culminating performance and reflection.

DOK Level: 3 – Strategic Thinking and Reflection

Offer small group or paired performances for students needing confidence support.

Provide written checklists for self-assessment.

Allow students to focus on one personal goal for improvement.
