Students will listen to several short choral recordings and identify musical elements they hear. The teacher will guide students through listening prompts and discussion. Students will mark observations on a listening chart to track what they notice.
DOK Level: 2 – Skill/Concept (identifying and describing musical elements)

Provide visual charts of musical vocabulary.


Use short listening clips for students who need repetition.


Allow students to discuss answers with a partner before sharing.
