Unit 4: 3.2 Energy in the Atmosphere; Water Cycle
Duration of Days: 11
1. How does water cycle into and through the atmosphere?
2. How does water cycle on the Earth's surface?
1. Students will explore how the transfer of thermal energy drives processes of the water cycle, including evaporation, condensation, and crystallization.
2. Students will continue their exploration of how water cycles among Earth's systems, focusing on precipitation, runoff, and the role of gravity in moving water downhill.
3. Students will recognize various water reservoirs and develop and use models about these concepts.
Formative and Summative assessments.
