Unit 1: COURSE DESCRIPTION

Grade 6 Applied Music is an exploratory course designed for all students to develop fundamental music skills and understanding.

Students engage in activities that enhance musical modes such as listening, singing, rhythm, notation, and instrumental skills while exploring diverse musical styles, cultures, and creative expression.

Emphasis is placed on creativity, collaboration, and developing a lifelong appreciation for music through hands-on experiences and performance opportunities.
