After rereading and discussing a model of close reading, students will be able to determine a theme of a text and explain how it is conveyed through particular details.
1.What is one of your favorite books, TV shows, or movies?
2. How do the main characters grow or change as a result of the plot events or particular details in the story? What do the main characters learn?
3.Have you ever read a story or novel that had more than one theme? If so what were the multiple themes?
