Lesson Objective
Students will demonstrate proper spacing while engaged in a group mountain bike ride.
"How can you tell if you are riding too close to the person in front of you?"
"If you see a large rock, a fallen tree branch, or a hiker coming up, how will you pass that information to the riders behind you?"

Many bike shops offer group rides and it is important for riders to know how to safely ride with others. It is also always safer to participate in mountain biking with others.
Riders must stay close together when out in the woods.
You don't need to call out hazards to because riders in front already saw them.
