Students will demonstrate the proper way to corner on flats and describe how to corner on a berm.

DOK 2 & 3 : Students will need to do some conceptual thinking and strategic reasoning.
Mountain bikers are required to be able to manage their bikes around flat corners to avoid objects and to safely enter and exit a berm.
You should always shift your body with the bike.
You should always brake in a turn.
You should shift your weight as far back as possible.
Progressively increase difficulty using speed, steepness, and size of the obstacles.
Modeling
Students will demonstrate their ability to take a corner while maintaining control of their mountain bike.
