DOK 2 & 3: Students will distinguish, hypothesize, and draw conclusions.

Mountain bike trails require bikers to constantly make adjustments to their riding position and speed based on the terrain.
Students will need to know which gear (s) to use and when to switch them.

You should always go slow when going down hill or over objects.
You should downshift once pedaling becomes difficult on a hill.
You should lean back when going down hill.
