Aquatic proficiency is a "insurance policy" for life. Beyond the immediate safety benefits of preventing drowning, advanced aquatic skills open doors to professional opportunities like lifeguarding, underwater engineering, and naval careers. Furthermore, swimming provides a low-impact, high-resistance environment for cardiovascular health that remains viable well into old age, making it one of the most sustainable forms of physical activity

Safety rules printed and given to each student in both English and Spanish. Teacher reviews all rules with class while they read along.
