Lesson Objective
Students will compete in a tournament while tracking "Kill" percentages and "Efficiency."

DOK 3: Analyze your team's side-out percentage from the first half; what tactical change could improve your transition scoring?
DOK 4: Evaluate the correlation between your team's serving errors and the opponent's "runs." Was the risk of aggressive serving worth the reward?
Volleyball is a lifelong sport that transitions from high school gyms to collegiate intramurals and community leagues. At an advanced level, it mirrors professional environments by requiring specialized roles, split-second decision-making, and "systems thinking." Success on the court translates to improved communication and the discipline to execute a specific role for the benefit of a team.
Not everyone can be an effective part of the team
Students will be grouped by skill level
Students will demonstrate volleyball skills in a Final Tournament.
Students will submit a completed statistical "Box Score" for their team.
