Unit 25: Weight Lifting
Duration of Days: 10
As a result of this unit students will be able to safely perform a variety of movement exercises using free weights, resistance machines, and cardiovascular machines.
Students will also be able to design and implement a variety of workout strategies.
As a result of this unit students will complete the following:
-Using all machines correctly
-Demonstrating safety in the weight room
-Demonstrating safety in the cardio room using treadmills, ellipticals, and stationary bikes
-Developing life long skills for health and wellness
-Develop individualized workout programs
Students will demonstrate learning by correctly performing movement exercises specific to the weight room and the cardio room.
Students will develop and implement individualized workout programs.
