Duration of Days: 8
Lesson Objective
Standard 2: Applies knowledge of concepts, principles, strategies, and tactics related to movement and performance.

Interval Training, Station-Based, Transition Time, Active Recovery, Full-Body Routine, Heart Rate Zone, Metabolic Conditioning.
Standard 3: (Specifically regarding the ability to design and implement a personal fitness plan).
(DOK 1) Define "Circuit Weight Training" and its relationship to station rest periods.
(DOK 2) Compare the benefits of circuit training to traditional strength training regarding workout duration.
Circuits are the ultimate "busy person's workout." Because you perform sets in "successive order" with "little rest," you can get a full-body workout in a fraction of the time. This method is highly effective for maintaining both strength and heart health simultaneously.
