DOK 1 - Identify and demonstrate the standard hand signals for a left turn, a right turn, and stopping.
DOK 3 - You are approaching a four-way stop at the same time as a motorized vehicle to your right. Predict the safest course of action and justify your choice based on right-of-way rules.

Bicycling is an ideal lifelong activity because it offers numerous benefits that extend far beyond a high school PE class. It is a low-impact exercise, easy on the joints, making it suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.

Use peer partners to help assist in learning.
Students can bring in their own bicycle and/or equipment.
