Lesson Objective
As a result of this lesson students will be able to demonstrate their current swimming abilities by completing the swim test. Students will have to swim widthwise the length of the pool (half way on their front, halfway on their back) and attempt to float.

1.12.9 Demonstrates water safety skills. If a pool facility is available demonstrates water safety and basic swimming skills.
2.12.17 Demonstrates knowledge of water safety skills. Demonstrates knowledge of basic swimming skills.
DOK 2: Apply knowledge and skills
Students only complete skills they are comfortable in i.e. if they are not comfortable putting their face in the water they do not have too. The teacher will evaluate their skill level based of off what differentiation is needed.
