Lesson Objective
As a result of this lesson students will be able to understand how to stay safe in the aquatics facility
1. What is the EAP?
2. What do you need to have to be prepared to swim?
3. What do you have to do for the swim test?
1.12.9 Demonstrates water safety skills. If a pool facility is available demonstrates water safety and basic swimming skills.
2.12.17 Demonstrates knowledge of water safety skills. Demonstrates knowledge of basic swimming skills.
DOK 1: Recall and Response
Safety rules printed and given to each student in both English and Spanish. Teacher reviews all rules with class while they read along.

Teacher observation for assessment.
