DOK 4: Design a short routine of three poses that you could use at home to help you de-stress before a big presentation.
Yoga is a "toolbox" for life. High schoolers face intense stressors like exams and social pressure. Yoga teaches self-regulation (Standard 4). The ability to stay calm during a difficult balancing pose translates directly to staying calm during a difficult test or conflict. It promotes a "growth mindset" by focusing on personal progress rather than external competition.
