Standard 2 (Applies knowledge of strategies and tactics).
(DOK 2) In Bocce, why might you choose to knock an opponent's ball away rather than trying to get your own closer to the pallino?

Outdoor education serves as a bridge between physical fitness and real-world resilience. Beyond the health benefits—such as reduced stress and improved mood—these activities teach problem-solving and risk management in unpredictable environments. Skills like map reading, teamwork, and environmental stewardship translate directly to adult life, fostering independence and a lifelong appreciation for sustainable living.
Backyard games are not competitive.
