(DOK 2) What are the most common "time-wasters" in a transition area, and how can you avoid them?
(DOK 3) Develop a sequence of movements for your team to follow when arriving at a checkpoint to ensure no gear is left behind.
Adventure racing mirrors the "real world" by requiring participants to manage limited resources, communicate under physical stress, and navigate unfamiliar territory. It teaches students that the fastest person isn't always the winner; the person who can plan, adapt, and work with their team usually comes out on top.
Adventure Racing is boring because it isn't a sport
