Unit 1: Health Care of the Past, Present and Future

Students will be able to learn :
*key terms associated with health care relating to past, present and future
*understand the career ladder and its importance- aide, assistant, technician. technologist and professional
*recognize the value of the past moving forward in the present and future of the med world.
*identify and illustrate different types of health care agencies and their purposes.

Students will engage in a project of noting the inventions that changed medical world and collaborate with others for final presentation.
Students will also do a project on local health care agencies to put this into perspective. (MBL on communication)
