How to create a 3-lesson segment (three lessons that occur in succession) , based on chapters in the book Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain and usie emotional-cognitive teaching methods. Students will present the 3 lesson segment to the class.
Research: Students will research culturally responsive teaching practices, including theories, strategies, and best practices. They will also explore different cultural groups and their unique perspectives.
Identify a Unit Topic: Students will select a unit topic that aligns with their interests and the curriculum standards fro the book Culturally Responsive Teaching
Develop a Unit Plan: Students will create a broader unit plan, outlining the overall goals, objectives, and assessments for the unit.
Plan the 3-Lesson Segment: Within the unit plan, students will develop a detailed plan for the 3-lesson segment, including specific learning objectives, activities, and assessments.
