Evidence-Based Writing: Practice constructing well-supported arguments on topics such as the impact of societal and cultural factors on education, referencing historical documents, court cases, and educational policies.

Purpose: teach the students what an ineffective lesson plan is by teaching an ineffective lesson and then have the student analyze the lesson. Next step is to give out a sample lesson plan and have the students analyze a class they recently attended and identify what the teacher did and what was successful and unsuccessful.
