Lesson Objective

Students will assemble the frame of their car to the body. Students will attach the wheels to the axels of the car and add the pin in the rear axel.

How do you think we should attach the body to the frame?
What types of glue should be used to attach the accessories?
Should we glue the wheels and the center dowels?

A. Safety: Describe and demonstrate the procedures related to workplace and
job-site safety, including personal protective equipment, machine safety,
and material handling practices.
C. Design, Measurement, and Layout: Interpret technical drawings, rough
drawings and sketches, and the use fractional measurement.

Students will use their knowledge to assemble their designs into working rubber band cars.

Students will be able to create a design that aligns to their own personal ability and comfort level.

Students will have an assembled rubber band car that can be tested for functionality.
