Lesson Objective
Students will sand their design for the project.
How much sanding is required to make your project finish ready?
What grit of sandpaper should be used for the spaces?
Should you use more than one grit to complete this step?

Students will select and use appropriate sanding tools including sand paper and files as well as disc sanders and spindle sanders.
Students will be able to create a design that aligns to their own personal ability and comfort level.
They will be given the assistance needed to complete the task at hand.
Students will have a design that is smooth throughout and ready for finishing.
