Premiere includes built-in Social Media Presets to take the guesswork out of technical settings.
YouTube/Vimeo Presets: Automatically sets the correct bitrate and resolution (1080p or 4K).
Direct Upload: Under the Publish tab, students can sign into their YouTube or Creative Cloud accounts to upload the video automatically after the export finishes.
Provide a "Preset Cheat Sheet" that maps specific social media apps to their corresponding Premiere preset names.
Challenge them to use the Thumbnail option in the Publish tab to upload a custom-designed Photoshop graphic as the video's cover image.
- The Master Export: Export your final 30-second project using the YouTube 1080p preset. Name it
ProjectName_Web.mp4. - The Social Crop: Use Auto Reframe to create a vertical version of that same project.
- The Social Export: Export the vertical version using a Mobile/TikTok preset. Name it
ProjectName_Social.mp4. - The Automation: Use the Publish tab to upload the horizontal version as an "Unlisted" video to a class YouTube channel or a Creative Cloud folder.
