In Video Production 2, students who love film, television, and digital media will level up their filmmaking skills. This semester-long course builds on the foundations of Video 1, diving deeper into the artistic and technical techniques essential to the production process. Students will gain hands-on experience using industry-standard equipment and professional software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, iMovie, and GarageBand
Students will master cinematic language and composition, applying these principles to create purposeful visual stories. As a project-driven class, active participation is essential for success. Students engage in every stage of the production cycle—writing, planning, filming, and editing—to bring short films to life. The curriculum also covers the technical mastery of camera, audio, and lighting equipment.
Students will engage with reading assignments and video production projects to master industry techniques. By applying advanced composition to their presentations and maintaining organized material workflows, they will learn to sequence visual assets and integrate text and sound into cohesive multimedia productions.
