Unit 6: Guided Behavior

Students will learn how to guide children’s behavior including children with disabilities and other diverse learners.

Students will learn how to establish clear behavioral expectations in a preschool classroom.

Students will be able to identify and apply various strategies for guiding children's behavior in the classroom effectively.

Students will create a clear set of rules and expectations for the classroom.

Students will observe in the preschool.

• Divide students into small groups and assign each group a different behavior scenario.
• Create a set of limits (rules) for the preschool classroom and a center within the classroom.
