Show a short video clip of a preschool SEL activity

Create a classroom SEL activity for the high school students to use daily and explain how its used and have them participate.

Discuss different emotions and how games can help children express and understand them.

Each student will develop their own SEL activity plan, including:
Title of the activity
Target age group
Objectives
List of materials
Step-by-step instructions for implementation

Students may believe that activities for young children need to be overly complex; clarify that simplicity is key in engaging preschoolers.

Students will create a detailed plan for an SEL activity, including objectives, materials needed, and a step-by-step guide on how to implement the game or activity into the classroom.
