Students will understand the concept of Developmentally Appropriate Practices and its importance in education for all children, including those with disabilities and diverse learners.
Students will explore age-appropriate and culturally appropriate-developmental expectations for children.
Students will discuss and reflect on effective teaching practices that support DAP.
Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of how to integrate DAP into daily teaching practices.
Students will create a classroom, design a bulletin board, and choose toys all while thinking about what is developmentally appropriate.
