Lesson Objective
Students will research and prepare a variety of dishes that would be acceptable as snacks in the afternoon as complete nourishment. Students will also research drinks that accompany the prepared snacks.
Students will formulate a menu for tea time.
What do Europeans prepare as a snack.
What is a celebrated snack ritual in Northern Europe.
What are the outside influence that were introduced to the traditional regional cuisine. Example- chicken curry sandwiches.

Tea is not something students usually drink hot and that all tea is the same. Sandwiches must contain meat and are a full meal.
Paring students together who possess different abilities to complete recipes and tasks.
Students will assemble an appropriate menu for afternoon tea that covers sweet and savory items and prepare a tea stand from prepared menu items.
