Students will identify, label and recall the countries and territories of Africa.
What is the geography and water ways specific to
each region?
How is the geography and climate affecting the cuisine of the region.
Where are the deserts, rain forest, jungles and Savannas located in Africa.

NCTM Geometry-Use visualization, spatial reasoning, and geometric modeling to solve problems.
Students will build their vocabulary of geography skills to support their SAT comprehension skills.
Students label all components of a map.
The purpose is to building their geographical awareness.
DOK Level One: Labeling individual parts of a map.
Student have a better understanding of what states, providences, and territories are located in each continent.
Students have limited knowledge geographical awareness.
