Students will know basic math skills to formulate, adjust, and read a recipe.
Students will know basic vocabulary and terminology related to baking.
Students will know how to use smallwares and bakeshop equipment for its intended purpose.
Students will apply math skills to accurately read a recipe and measure ingredients with the proper tools. Students will secure the correct smallwares and equipment to prepare a recipe.
Students will apply baking theory to execute the correct methods and procedures to produce an edible outcome.
Students will apply their math skills to increase and decrease recipes.
Students will demonstrate their learning by consistently measuring ingredients and using the most appropriate equipment for the task at hand. Students will convert recipe amounts as needed.
