Themes are the most efficient way to apply formatting. They allow you to create and customize personal aesthetic choices, keep documents consistent, and apply mass formatting changes with a single click. Other tools, such as Quick Parts and Building Blocks, or your own custom templates, allow you to take this efficient personalization approach to a whole new level. In this chapter, you will build a customized theme. You will also use built-in and custom Quick Parts and Building Blocks. Finally, you will use all these tools to create custom templates.
