The students will be able to define the concept of marketing, identify target markets, and understand how businesses use the 4 P’s of marketing to create a marketing plan. In addition, they will be able to recall the steps in doing market research and recall what factors influence advertising decisions.

-Case study analysis on real-life entrepreneurial challenges
-Participate in group/individual class work that is a research based investigation on marketing plan for businesses
-Students will use business techniques described in the unit and apply those techniques to create a marketing plan for a business.
Students will complete and create a marketing plan for a business .
