Students will be introduced to the country of Italy and be able to identify the capital and other major cities, all regions, surrounding nations, and other critical information such as population, languages spoken, and folks in charge.

What is the capital of Italy and what is important to know about it?

Engaging in the geography of the country in which the target language is spoken, students being able to identify the regions of Italy and begin to understand what makes one different from the next. This requires higher level thinking.
-Provide academic level students with a note-taking guide in which they will follow along with "L'Italia - La geografia" presentation and fill in crucial information as we go.
