Students will move beyond simple animal names into the complexities of environmental science and human influence.

Vocabulary (Contextos): They will know terms for diverse ecosystems (la cordillera, la selva tropical, el arrecife), environmental threats (el calentamiento global, la deforestación, el derrame de petróleo), and conservation (el envase, el reciclaje, la energía eólica).

Cultural Products: They will know about the biodiversity of the Spanish-speaking world, specifically focused on Costa Rica (ecotourism) and the Andes region.

Grammar (Estructura):

The Present Subjunctive: The core "mood" of Level 3. They will know the "Opposite Vowel" conjugation rules.

Subjunctive with Will and Influence: Knowing when to trigger the subjunctive using verbs like querer, insistir, sugerir, and aconsejar.

Subjunctive with Emotion: Expressing feelings about the planet (e.g., "Me alegra que cuiden los bosques").

Students will transition from being observers of nature to being advocates for the planet.

Interpretive: They will read and analyze environmental infographics or fables like "El pato y la serpiente" to extract moral lessons and scientific data.

Interpersonal: They will debate environmental policies. For example, one student plays a developer and the other an activist, using Verbs of Influence to persuade the other.

Presentational: They will create "Public Service Announcements" (PSAs) or letters to government officials demanding specific ecological actions.

Phonetic: They will master the stress and accent rules (Ortografía), ensuring they can correctly place tildes on multi-syllabic nature terms (pájaro, árbol, océano).
